The image structures that were produced in 2014 are less diverse than those of the previous year and no longer changed at short intervals. Instead a progressive development was introduced. A single path was taken, and thus the aim was to attain a linear evolution. The approach consists of a system of grid structures which, alongside irregular polygons, usually display ribbon-like surfaces with parallel boundaries. This principle was first applied in 2012, and was now varied and refined. The increasingly complex relief effects generate an image space that becomes more and more irrational and at the same time more dynamic. As in the previous year, the all-over approach gives way to emphasis on centres of gravity – i.e. by concentrations of light and equally of colour.
